Lelia Broussard II



I decided to do another drawing of Lelia Broussard earlier. I drew more of her this time than I drew in the first one, titled "Lelia Broussard", which I drew and blogged last year. That drawing was a closeup profile of her face as she appeared in her music video for her song "Scared to Feel". Like the drawing in last night's blog post, I used some of my new art set, which my sister gave me as a Christmas present. I used an 8B pencil, and F pencil, and an H pencil. I went over it with a fixative. Lelia has been raising money for her new album through Kickstarter.com. You can check out her page on the site here.

This is my drawing for day 25 of Terri's "30 DAY DRAWING/ART CHALLENGE." You're supposed to draw "your favourite sweet food/candy/etc (Terri)." I have a few favorites, actually, and this is one of them. This specifically is a drawing of a fun size Twix from a Christmas variety bag. The scallop in the right circle behind the Twix is because one of the circles on the wrapper is like that. At least it looks like a circle with a scallop on the wrapper. Art Projects

I've been thinking about ideas for art projects. I'm planning on getting The Drawing Board #13 done and posted on here within this week, or maybe Sunday of next week. I've been wanting to do an artwork as a tribute to our armed forces. I'm also thinking of doing a comic strip about Eliza Dushku. That last idea is inspired by the comics on NataliePortman.com. I'll be posting those artworks as soon as they're completed.
