I've been looking through Christopher Hart's book, Modern Cartooning, again lately. He shows different head shapes you can use for cartoon characters that you draw. I tried a round head shape for this drawing. This character looked to me like he could be a historian. At first I thought of naming him Abraham, but I then I thought Sam might sound better. I gave him facial hair similar to Tom Selleck in the film Quigley Down Under. I imagine Sam's specialty may be the old west. He's really into stuff about cowboys saloons and things like that. He also loves old trains. Sam is really enthusiastic about history.
My sister made some decorations for my birthday using a machine that makes cutouts of silhouettes. One of the things she made was of The Punisher symbol. It already looked cool, but I photoshopped it, and I think this looks cool too. I like how the skull has a metallic look to it. My sister made the cutout of The Punisher skull with a foil-like paper, which has adhesive on the back. She put that on a black paper circle. The paper is more or less like you'd use for a scrapbook. It's one of my favorite decorations she made. Below is a picture of the decoration.
This is my drawing for day 25 of Terri's "30 DAY DRAWING/ART CHALLENGE." You're supposed to draw "your favourite sweet food/candy/etc (Terri)." I have a few favorites, actually, and this is one of them. This specifically is a drawing of a fun size Twix from a Christmas variety bag. The scallop in the right circle behind the Twix is because one of the circles on the wrapper is like that. At least it looks like a circle with a scallop on the wrapper. I'm thinking of doing more with it later.

Happy Earth Day! It's great that the Earth became livable eons ago and that we came into existence on it. Different people have different ideas of how we came into existence on it, but I think the important thing is that we live on a beautiful planet that has pretty much everything a human being could want or need. Earth is awesome!
