12th Anniversary Of "Christian Bale As Batman" Artwork
"Christian Bale as Batman"
It's been about twelve years since I made this artwork. I think I actually colored it a year or so later because I didn't get my Wacom tablet until maybe 2005. Batman Begins came out in 2005, and I was really excited about it. I'm a big Batman fan and there hadn't been a Batman film since Batman & Robin in 1997. They had released promo pictures and things like that before Batman Begins came out. In my opinion, Christian Bale was a great Batman. I think this artwork turned out really well. I might want to do one of Ben Affleck as Batman some time.
My sister made some decorations for my birthday using a machine that makes cutouts of silhouettes. One of the things she made was of The Punisher symbol. It already looked cool, but I photoshopped it, and I think this looks cool too. I like how the skull has a metallic look to it. My sister made the cutout of The Punisher skull with a foil-like paper, which has adhesive on the back. She put that on a black paper circle. The paper is more or less like you'd use for a scrapbook. It's one of my favorite decorations she made. Below is a picture of the decoration.
This is my drawing for day 25 of Terri's "30 DAY DRAWING/ART CHALLENGE." You're supposed to draw "your favourite sweet food/candy/etc (Terri)." I have a few favorites, actually, and this is one of them. This specifically is a drawing of a fun size Twix from a Christmas variety bag. The scallop in the right circle behind the Twix is because one of the circles on the wrapper is like that. At least it looks like a circle with a scallop on the wrapper. I'm thinking of doing more with it later.

Happy Earth Day! It's great that the Earth became livable eons ago and that we came into existence on it. Different people have different ideas of how we came into existence on it, but I think the important thing is that we live on a beautiful planet that has pretty much everything a human being could want or need. Earth is awesome!
