Here's another picture I drew of Monty Python's Gumby. I drew it in pencil and then went over it with Sharpies. I blogged a previous Gumby drawing awhile back, here. I wish Monty Python had continued to do movies or something like that beyond Monty Python's the Meaning of Life. They did do Monty Python Live (Mostly): One Down, Five to Go, but that was decades later. I think they could have done Python movies on the side from their solo work. They could have done one every two or three years. But, there's still a lot of Monty Python. Speaking of their solo work, Eric Idle had a sitcom in the '80s titled Nearly Departed. I looked for the intro on YouTube. I didn't find it, but I did find what appeared to be full episodes of the show. The Monty Python guys have done some great work together, and solo.
My sister made some decorations for my birthday using a machine that makes cutouts of silhouettes. One of the things she made was of The Punisher symbol. It already looked cool, but I photoshopped it, and I think this looks cool too. I like how the skull has a metallic look to it. My sister made the cutout of The Punisher skull with a foil-like paper, which has adhesive on the back. She put that on a black paper circle. The paper is more or less like you'd use for a scrapbook. It's one of my favorite decorations she made. Below is a picture of the decoration.
Happy Earth Day! It's great that the Earth became livable eons ago and that we came into existence on it. Different people have different ideas of how we came into existence on it, but I think the important thing is that we live on a beautiful planet that has pretty much everything a human being could want or need. Earth is awesome!
