This is not related to my art, though superheroes have been an influence on it. But, here is an article that I think is worth a read in regards to superheroes on film.
This is my drawing for day 25 of Terri's "30 DAY DRAWING/ART CHALLENGE." You're supposed to draw "your favourite sweet food/candy/etc (Terri)." I have a few favorites, actually, and this is one of them. This specifically is a drawing of a fun size Twix from a Christmas variety bag. The scallop in the right circle behind the Twix is because one of the circles on the wrapper is like that. At least it looks like a circle with a scallop on the wrapper. I'm thinking of doing more with it later. Works Cited Terri. 30 Day Art Challenge . Terri. http://terribly.deviantart.com/art/30-DAY-ART-CHALLENGE-330788048
I've been thinking about ideas for art projects. I'm planning on getting The Drawing Board #13 done and posted on here within this week, or maybe Sunday of next week. I've been wanting to do an artwork as a tribute to our armed forces. I'm also thinking of doing a comic strip about Eliza Dushku. That last idea is inspired by the comics on NataliePortman.com. I'll be posting those artworks as soon as they're completed.
Usually, I put the titles of the artworks in the title for the blog post, but considering the titles for these are kind of long, I decided to just use the title "Superman Logos". The first one is titled "Supermen - The Blur Logo". That's the one above. I basically took a picture of the Superman logo and photoshopped it to look like the logo on the shirt part of Clark Kent's "The Blur" costume on Smallville . Someone asked if I could do a logo like that for the villain Zod, so I did it. There it is below. It's titled "Superman - Smallville Zod logo". Like with The Blur logo I photoshopped a picture of the Zod logo to look like the logo on Clark Kent's shirt part of his costume does.
