"Groovy Eliza" Here's a drawing from one of my sketchbooks. It's Eliza Dushku as she appeared on That '70s Show . Eliza guest starred in an episode and played, I think a disc jockey.

"Eliza Dushku is Beautiful" This is something I drew in one of my sketchbooks. It was one of those sketchbooks you can buy at Walmart that have the pocket page in them. I drew it on the pocket on one side of the pocket page. Eliza Dushku is awesome!

"Eliza Dushku Close Up" Eliza Dushku turns 35 today. She's a beautiful, smart, strong, and extremely talented woman. She's starred in movies such as True Lies and Wrong Turn . She's also has starred on shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Tru Calling and Dollhouse , the latter two of which she was the lead actress. She's a very caring person. She's help some great causes like the one of which THRIVEGulu is for. THRIVEGulu helps people in Uganda like former child soldiers. I thought I'd use an old drawing I did (pictured above) as a birthday tribute to Eliza. I drew it on paper and inked it with some Sharpies. I posted it on deviantART some time ago, but this is the first time I've blogged it on here. Happy birthday, Eliza Dushku!

I've been thinking about writing poetry lately. I talked to a friend about it, and I decided to go ahead and go to it. I haven't written poetry since high school, I think. I decided to get back into it as another way to be creative. Last night, I wrote a poem inspired by actress Eliza Dushku. "Eliza Dushku IV" Last year I got a second artwork published in Lowrider Arte magazine. "Eliza Dushku IV" was published in the February/March 2012 issue. You can check it out on the Lowrider Arte site here . This is my second artwork to be published in Lowrider Arte . The first was "Vanessa Minnillo," which you can see below. "Vanessa Minnillo" Coincidentally, "Vanessa Minnillo" was also published in a February/March issue, in 2005. I'm proud that I can now say that I've had two artworks published in Lowrider Arte . This is also my second artwork to be published in a national publication.

"The Jennifer Kyle Experiment" Christopher Hart's book, Modern Cartooning , got me thinking about applying techniques in it to my Drawing Board characters. This is my second endeavor. Admittedly, the shirt is a little off center. I like how this is going though. Other than that off-center shirt thing, there are two things I might consider tweaking. I may or may not want to simplify the hair a little more, and maybe do away with the eyelids. Maybe. I think she looks beautiful and sexy. I think maybe she looks a little like Eliza Dushku, who she is, at least in part, inspired by. I've also done one of Jack Miller, which I think I'll post next time. I'm liking how this is all turning out.

Faith and Agent J Sketches This is a piece from my newest sketchbook. I bought one with heavy weight paper in it. I plan to still use the medium weight sketchbook. The woman is Eliza Dushku as Faith, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer . The man is Will Smith as Agent J, from Men in Black 3 . I drew Will smith with a regular number two pencil. At least I think it was number two. It doesn't say. It's one of those with graphics on them that you can get in the stationery department at a retail store. I drew Eliza with a Pentel mechanical pencil, which takes 0.7mm lead. These are the first two doodles in my newest sketchbook.

So far, in the "30 DAY DRAWING CHALLENGE (sic)," I've drawn six things. I've drawn myself, Eliza Dushku, a friend from school, a chihuahua, my pajamas, and a brain. There are 24 days to go in the challenge. I'm definitely thinking about getting digital camera pictures of the first three drawings so I can start blogging my challenge drawings. It looks like the challenge will take me into the first full week in November. I'm really enjoying this challenge. My sister recently bought me a scratch paper kit, and this is one of the artworks I did with it. I think it turned out really well. It's very colorful, hence the title, "Colorful Eliza Dushku."

Eliza Dushku's 31st birthday is over (it was December 30th), but her birthday wish is to raise $31,000 for THARCE-GULU, and she still needs help. I've been thinking about ideas for art projects. I'm planning on getting The Drawing Board #13 done and posted on here within this week, or maybe Sunday of next week. I've been wanting to do an artwork as a tribute to our armed forces. I'm also thinking of doing a comic strip about Eliza Dushku. That last idea is inspired by the comics on NataliePortman.com. I'll be posting those artworks as soon as they're completed.

Jennifer Kyle is a writer and the girlfriend of Jack Miller in my comic strip for my blog. I'm more or less modeling her after Eliza Dushku, and maybe some women I've known personally. She's a strong, smart woman. She's sweet and she's got a good sense of humor.

I drew this picture of Eliza Dushku's feet in 2009. I saw a picture of her feet on, I think Eliza-Dushku.org. I usually draw her face or something like that, but this time I just felt like drawing her feet, so I did. I think it turned out pretty well. Eliza Dushku is beautiful from head to toe, foot pun intended.

I've been a fan of Eliza Dushku since 2003, and it started with this drawing. I wasn't familiar with her when I drew this picture. I drew this from a photo in one of Entertainment Weekly 's photo issues. I thought it was a beautiful picture and I wanted to draw it, so I did. I was intrigued by her and I found out that she was going to have her own show, Tru Calling , and I started watching it. That's when I really became a fan of her. She's got a Twitter page here , and a Facebook page here . She's a very beautiful and talented woman. I think it's cool that she comes from the same state as Aerosmith and Robert B. Parker. She's in a relationship with basketball player and lucky guy Rick Fox. He's also got a Twitter page here . He seems like a cool guy. These are a couple drawings I doodled in my sketchbook last night and scanned and digitally colored today. The first one is an Eliza Dushku logo. I might tweak it later. The second drawing, below, is a drawing of myself in a cartoon style. I might consider using that style for my comic strip for my blog. Right now I'm in the process of writing character descriptions. The drawings are titled "Eliza Dushku logo" and "Toony Me."

I'm dedicating this blog post to Eliza Dushku. I made this artwork in 2004, hence the title "Eliza Dushku 2004." Eliza has a new cause that she needs help with. This is her birthday present from anyone who wants to help out. The details are here .

Today is a twofer. If I'd posted this yesterday I could have called it a Tuesday twofer. First is the drawing above of Eliza Dushku. I tend to title my blog posts after the artworks I'm posting, unless I'm not posting one. This one is titled "Eliza Patricia Dushku". I don't know how many drawings I've done of Eliza now but she's one of my favorite people to draw. This one is titled "Ghoul". I think it's one of the pictures I doodled in high school during Study Hall. I figured this is a good month to post any horror themed drawings, since it's the month of Halloween.

I bet she is. Season 2 of Dollhouse , which stars Eliza Dushku, premiered tonight. And it looks like it's going to be an awesome season. Season 1 was great. This one looks to be even better. Now Paul Ballard is Echo's handler and she's remembering everything from her previous imprints. This drawing of Eliza is of her at the 6th Annual Tribeca Film Festival, for a press conference for her film Nobel Son , in 2007. I actually started this drawing in 2007 and finished it in 2008. I haven't done an Eliza drawing in awhile, although the last one I drew was this year. I'll likely be doing another before the year is over, or more than another one.
